ARMOURING MACHINE
The armouring is applied on the inner-sheathed cable to give mechanical protection, against any converted sudden blow or impact. It also allows short circuit current to pass through. Armouring machines are designed for both round wires and flat strips, which are spirally wound over the inner sheath of the cables. The line consists of Pay off and Take Up stand with traversing system , taping head , length measuring unit, Belt Caterpillar, Main Drive and Control Panel.
The Pay off & Take Up stands are designed to accommodate drum sizes 1000 to 2500 mm, consisting of two vertical column assembly and sliding over the base to hold the drums on pintles. Pintles are motorized for lifting and lowering and sliding columns are also motorized for drum holding . |
